How it works Delivered through the barrier, not onto it

The Peptavia micro-infusion system pairs a 0.5mm microneedle stamp with a sealed copper peptide serum. Pressed to the scalp, it creates hundreds of microscopic channels through the outer skin layer — the barrier that stops most topical serums getting anywhere. The serum travels in through those channels 5x deeper, as they form, rather than sitting on the surface, delivering the actives to the depth where the follicle sits.

The ingredients were never the problem — getting them in was.

Why this over other treatments Rollers, serums and clinic sessions
Against a derma roller Presses straight down at a fixed depth instead of dragging. New sealed head every session, and the serum goes in through the channels rather than on top of them.
Against a serum alone Same actives, different route in.
Against a clinic Ten minutes at home, no booking, a fraction of the cost per session.

Which type of thinning looks most like yours?

Pick the pattern closest to your own and see how it changed, week by week.

[Crown thinning]· [13 weeks]· [Once weekly]

Day 0 Day 0

Thinning is clearly visible through the centre of the crown.

Week 4 Week 4

No major change yet the crown still looks slightly thin.

Week 8 Week 8

A difference is starting to show compared with the first photo.

Week 13 Week 13

The crown looks noticeably transformed, with less scalp showing through.

ā€œI honestly didn’t think much was happening for the first month or two. It was only when I put the first photo next to the latest one that I realised how much less of my crown I could see.ā€

[Temples and hairline]· [17 weeks]· [Once weekly]

Day 0 Day 0

Recession is visible through the front corners and central hairline.

Week 4 Week 4

Thin hairs starting to grow thicker — the frontal area still looks exposed .

Week 10 Week 10

Major thickening is starting to show through the front compared with the earlier photos.

Week 17 Week 17

The hairline looks fuller overall, with less recession showing through the front.

ā€œThe front was always the bit I hated most. I’m about four months in now and it definitely looks better than when I started. Still not perfect and how i want it, but I’m really happy with how it’s coming along.ā€

[Widening parting]· [14 weeks]· [Once weekly]

Day 0 Day 0

The part is visibly wide, with more scalp showing through the centre.

Week 4 Week 4

Week 9 Week 9

An improvement is starting to show, with the part looking a little less exposed.

Week 14 Week 14

The part looks noticeably tighter and fuller, with reduced scalp visibility through the centre.

ā€œI basically lived in slick backs because I hated how my part looked. It’s still not perfect, but I’m way less conscious of it now and I’ve actually started wearing my hair down again.ā€

[Diffuse thinning]· [12 weeks]· [Once weekly]

Day 0 Day 0

Thinning is visible across the crown and upper scalp, with scalp showing through the centre.

Week 4 Week 4

No major visible change yet — the top still looks quite thin and open.

Week 8 Week 8

Early improvement is starting to show, with the crown looking a little less exposed.

Week 14 Week 14

The top looks fuller overall, with better coverage and less scalp showing through the crown.

ā€œMine was more thinning all over the top rather than one bald patch. The first few weeks looked pretty much the same, but around the two-month mark I started noticing it looked a bit thicker in photos. It’s been gradual, but I can see the difference now.ā€

Thinning does not look the same on everyone

Crown thinningScalp becoming visible around the vertex.
Hairline recessionCorners and temples moving back.
Diffuse thinningReduced density across a wider area.
Widening partingMore scalp showing along the part.

Which is why we suggest judging your progress against your own starting photographs — not somebody else's. Same room, same light, same angle, every four weeks.

Before you start

Your first session starts with a photo

Change over four weeks is too gradual to see in a mirror. The photograph is the only fair comparison you will have at day 90.

1 Three anglesCrown from above, hairline straight on, and the side you notice most.
2 Same room, same lightOverhead light, no flash, no filter. Bathroom is fine — just use the same one each time.
3 Dry hair, same styleHow you normally wear it. Wet hair exaggerates thinning and will mislead you later.

How it works

Three steps. Ten minutes.

Your scalp is built to keep things out. This gets past it.

01

Press

The 0.5mm stamp opens hundreds of microchannels through the scalp's outer barrier.

Press
02

Infuse

Serum travels in through those channels as they form — not sitting on the surface like a topical.

The evidence

In a randomised trial of 100 men, adding microneedling to a topical produced a mean gain of 91.4 hairs per cm² over 12 weeks, against 22.2 for the topical alone.

That trial used 1.5mm needling with 5% minoxidil. It establishes microneedling as a delivery method, and is not a study of this product.

The formula

Every active, and exactly how much of it.

Copper Tripeptide-1
Copper Tripeptide-1
Signal

The peptide the category is built on, studied for its role in skin repair signalling. A large molecule — which is exactly why it is delivered through microchannels rather than applied to the surface.

Adenosine
Adenosine
Signal

One of the better-evidenced hair actives, and approved as a quasi-drug for hair use in Japan. Studied for its effect on the follicle growth phase.

Caffeine
Caffeine
Defend

Studied in human follicle organ culture for its effect on testosterone-related growth suppression. At 1.5% it is a functional inclusion rather than a label decoration.

Acetyl Tetrapeptide-3
Acetyl Tetrapeptide-3
Signal

A biomimetic peptide studied in relation to the extracellular matrix around the follicle. Used at low percentage because that is the range it is studied at.

Panax Ginseng Root
Panax Ginseng Root
Defend

Ginsenosides have been studied in relation to 5-alpha-reductase, the enzyme behind DHT. Included at a full percent rather than a trace.

Niacinamide
Niacinamide
Environment

The highest active in the formula. Studied for skin barrier function and hydration — the scalp condition everything else depends on.

Also included: Panthenol 2.0%, Eclipta prostrata 0.5%, Licorice root 0.3%, Green tea leaf 0.3%, Biotin 0.1%, Arginine 0.1%, Salicylic acid 0.1%.

Questions worth asking

The basics
What is actually in the box?

One micro-infusion stamp, replacement sterile heads, and sealed serum vials. The 1-month, 2-month and 3-month kits differ only in how many heads and vials they contain.

Each head is single use. It is sealed until you fit it and disposed of afterwards.

How is this different from a liquid + derma roller?

Three things. The stamp presses straight down rather than dragging across the skin. Every session uses a new sterile head rather than one that blunts over months. And the serum travels through the channels as they are made, rather than being applied on top afterwards.

Does it hurt?

At 0.5mm most people describe it as a prickling sensation rather than pain. Some redness afterwards is normal and usually settles within a few hours.

If it is genuinely painful, or if redness lasts more than a day, stop and let us know.

Using it
How often should I use it, and how?

Every kit includes a printed guide covering preparation, technique, spacing between sessions and aftercare. Read it before your first session rather than working it out as you go.

The guided usage is once per week.

Can I use my own serum with it?

No. Use only the sealed vials supplied. Serums formulated for surface application are not designed to go through the skin barrier, and some contain ingredients that can irritate badly when they do.

When would I expect to notice anything?

Hair works on a slow cycle. A full growth phase takes months, which is why every credible protocol in this area is measured in months rather than weeks.

Most people assessing any hair routine commit to at least three months before judging it. Take a photo in consistent light before your first session — memory is unreliable and month-to-month change is gradual.

What happens if I stop?

This is a cosmetic routine, not a permanent change. If the underlying cause of your thinning is ongoing, stopping means the routine stops contributing.

Safety
Who should not use this?

Do not use it if any of the following apply:

  • Broken, inflamed, infected or sunburned scalp, or any active skin condition in the area
  • A history of keloid or raised scarring
  • You take blood thinners, or have a bleeding or clotting disorder
  • You are on isotretinoin, or have been within the last six months
  • You are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • You have an active cold sore or any skin infection nearby

If you are unsure, ask a pharmacist or your doctor before your first session.

When should I see a doctor instead?

Hair loss is sometimes a symptom of something treatable, and some causes get worse rather than better with microneedling. See a GP or dermatologist first if your hair loss is:

  • Sudden, rapid, or in distinct patches
  • Accompanied by scalp pain, burning, scaling or redness
  • Alongside changes in weight, energy, periods or nails
  • Leaving smooth, shiny areas where the follicles look absent

That last one matters most. Scarring alopecias can look like ordinary thinning early on and can be made permanently worse. A diagnosis first is worth more than any product.

What does the guarantee cover?

Try for 90 days. If you are not happy with it, contact us within 14 days after hat window and we will refund you.

Still unsure? Read the full safety and treatment guide before your first session.

Customer photo review of Copper Peptides

First month I honestly couldn't see anything. Around weeks 7–8 I started noticing small changes and now at week 12 my crown definitely looks better in photos. You have to give it time.

Customer photo review of Copper Peptides

About 9 weeks in. I can see some small new hairs around my hairline but I was probably expecting things to happen a little quicker. Going to keep using it because there is definitely some progress.

Customer photo review of Copper Peptides

Was slightly nervous about the needles but honestly it's nowhere near as bad as it sounds. Takes a few minutes and then I'm done for the week. Starting to notice little baby hairs now too.

Customer photo review of Copper Peptides

The actual treatment is straightforward and I like only having to do it weekly. My crown looks slightly fuller after around 2 months, although it's still too early for me to give it 5 stars. Will update after another month or two.

Customer photo review of Copper Peptides

Bought this mainly for my crown as that's where I've been thinning the most. Around week 8 I compared photos and there is definitely a difference. Nothing crazy but enough that I'm carrying on with it.

Customer photo review of Copper Peptides

Quite professional packaging, good quality. The doses are small in size, so effectiveness needs to be monitored.
